We collect the following information when you use Vibeca.ai:

• Account data: Your email address and Google account identifier when you sign in via Google OAuth.
• Profile data: Nickname, age, and relationship-type preferences you provide during onboarding or in settings.
• Gameplay data: Quiz responses, truth-or-dare answers, personality-test inputs, and session metadata (room codes, timestamps).
• Technical data: Device type, browser version, and anonymized analytics events used to improve app performance.

We use your data solely to operate and improve Vibeca.ai:

• Generating and hosting real-time game lobbies for you and your friends.
• Building personalized persona profiles and compatibility verdicts.
• Preventing duplicate questions across sessions for the same pair of players.
• Maintaining session state so games progress smoothly between devices.
• Diagnosing bugs and measuring feature usage via anonymized analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Vibeca.ai uses secure third-party AI endpoints to generate game content in real time.

• Anonymized gameplay inputs and text prompts are sent to our AI provider (DeepSeek API) solely for real-time content generation — e.g., creating questions, dares, and personality analyses.
• These inputs are not used to train, fine-tune, or improve the AI provider's underlying models.
• We do not send personally identifiable information (email, real name) to AI endpoints.

Vibeca uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) to keep the app working and to understand usage.

• Essential cookies: Required for sign-in sessions, room state, and invite link handling (e.g. pendingInviteCode). The app cannot function without these.
• Analytics cookies: Anonymous usage analytics that help us measure feature adoption and diagnose bugs. No personal identifiers are sent.
• No advertising cookies: We do not use third-party advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.

How to opt out of non-essential cookies:

• Email us at support@vibeca.ai to disable analytics for your account.
• Enable your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or block third-party cookies in your browser preferences — Vibeca respects these signals.
• Use private/incognito browsing to prevent persistent storage between sessions.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in and gameplay.

Game session data is retained for as long as your account is active so that lobbies and history remain accessible. If you delete your account, all associated profile and gameplay data is permanently removed within 30 days. Invite links expire automatically after 30 minutes unless regenerated by the host.

You have the right to:

• Access or update your profile data at any time via Settings.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@vibeca.ai.
• Export a copy of your data upon request.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and enforce Row-Level Security (RLS) on our database so that your game data is only accessible to you and your invited partner. Access tokens are short-lived and scoped per session.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our features evolve. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Vibeca.ai after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
